  • The Asian Federation of the Societies for Alternatives in Animal Experiments

(AFSAAE) was established in December 2024 at the Fourth Asian Congress

for Alternatives in Animal Experiments (4ACAAE) in New Delhi, India. The

establishment ceremony was successfully held on December 13. The AFSAAE

currently consists of the four founding member societies, the Korean

Society for Alternatives to Animal Experiments (KSAAE), the Japanese

Society for Alternatives to Animal Experiments (JSAAE), the Society for

Alternatives to Animal Experiments - India (SAAE-I) and the society of

Toxicological Alternatives and Translational Toxicology (TATT), Chinese

Society of Toxicology (CSOT). Prof. Sakai was appointed as the first

chair of the federation. We also proud of that Prof. Pang, one of our

graduate and now associate professor at Tsinghua Univ, was appointed as

the Board of Director members through the recommendation by TATT-CSOT.
